Disclaimer

Tarifbase is an independent reference for HS codes, customs tariffs and trade figures. We are not a customs authority, a customs broker or a law firm, and nothing on this site is a classification decision.

Not legally binding

The codes, descriptions and duty rates on this site are taken from the official publications listed on our data sources page. They are shown for information only. What applies to a shipment depends on the goods themselves, their origin, the date of import and rules that are not all reproduced here: preferential rates, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, quotas, suspensions, excise duties and VAT.

A legally binding classification can only be obtained from a customs authority: Binding Tariff Information (BTI) in the EU, a BTB decision in Türkiye, a CBP ruling in the United States or an Advance Tariff Ruling in the UK.

How current the data is

Each page shows the version of the tariff it comes from and the date it entered into force. Tariffs change: the EU publishes a new Combined Nomenclature every year, the US schedule is revised several times a year, and amendments can enter into force between two of our updates.

The duty shown for the Turkish schedule is the statutory rate under Customs Tariff Law 474. The rate actually applied at import is set in the Import Regime Decision and can be lower or depend on the country of origin.

Trade figures

Trade values and quantities come from the CEPII BACI database, which reconciles the declarations of exporting and importing countries. They can differ from national statistics and are published with a delay of about a year.

Our responsibility
