Hoofdstuk 34 telt in het Britse douanetarief 37 tariefregels, verdeeld over 7 posten.
De tarieven lopen van 0% tot 6% (gemiddeld 2,5%); 14 tariefregels hebben een tarief van 0%.
De meeste tariefregels, 16, vallen onder post 3402 (‘Organische tensioactieve producten’).
Het meest voorkomende tarief is 4%, bij 20 tariefregels.
Het hoogste tarief, 6%, geldt voor 3403 19 10 00 (‘Containing 70% or more by weight of petroleum oils or of oils…’).
