CHED

Also called: Common Health Entry Document · TRACES

The EU document, completed in the TRACES system, used to pre-notify and record official controls on animals, products of animal origin, food and feed of non-animal origin under specific controls, and plants at border control posts. Different CHED types apply to different categories of goods.

In practice

Goods requiring a CHED must enter through a border control post designated for that category, which can determine the choice of port.
