Het Turkse douanetarief verdeelt onderverdeling 8501.31 in 4 tariefregels; het wettelijke tarief (Wet 474) ligt tussen 0% en 2,7% (gemiddeld 1,4%). Voor 2 daarvan is het tarief 0%.

Goederen uit 152 landen kunnen in de EU tegen een preferentieel tarief worden ingevoerd in plaats van tegen het derdelandenrecht van 2,7%, bijvoorbeeld onder GSP-EBA of CARIFORUM; voor 152 daarvan geldt helemaal geen invoerrecht.
