Equivalent goods
Also called: equivalence · eşdeğer eşya
Union goods that are stored, used or processed in place of the goods placed under a special procedure. They must normally have the same eight-digit code, commercial quality and technical characteristics as the goods they replace.
In practice
Equivalence gives flexibility in inward processing and warehousing, but needs a specific authorisation and careful records.
