Export controls
Also called: export licensing · ihracat kontrolleri
Laws that restrict the export, transfer, brokering and transit of military items, dual-use goods and technology, and sometimes other strategic goods, through licensing requirements and prohibitions. They are based on international regimes such as the Wassenaar Arrangement and are enforced alongside sanctions.
In practice
A license requirement can depend on the item, the destination, the end user and the end use, so screening all four is part of every sensitive export.
