EXW
Also called: ex works
The Incoterms rule placing the least obligation on the seller: goods are made available at the seller's premises and the buyer arranges loading, transport, export and import formalities. The buyer bears risk from the moment goods are placed at its disposal.
In practice
EXW can leave the buyer responsible for export clearance in a country where it has no registration, which is why many traders use FCA instead.
