Originating materials
Also called: originating inputs
Materials used in production that themselves qualify as originating under the agreement, either because they are wholly obtained or because they were sufficiently processed in a partner country. They can be used without limit in making an originating product.
In practice
Supplier's declarations are the usual evidence that inputs bought within the free trade area count as originating.
