Supplier's declaration
Also called: long-term supplier's declaration · tedarikçi beyanı
A statement given by a supplier to its customer about the preferential origin status of goods supplied, used by the customer to calculate the origin of its own products. A long-term declaration covers repeated supplies for up to two years. It is a commercial document, not a proof of origin for import.
In practice
Exporters depend on accurate supplier declarations; if one is wrong, the exporter's own origin statements and the customer's preference claims can collapse.
