About the Brazil tariff

Brazil classifies goods in the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM), an 8-digit code shared by the Mercosur countries (8471.30.12, for example), and applies the Mercosur Common External Tariff (TEC) with exceptions of its own. Texts are in Portuguese.

The page shows the TEC rate and the exceptions Brazil applies (LETEC, BIT/BK), as published by the Receita Federal in Siscomex Classif and set by Gecex/Camex resolutions. Trade remedies, quotas and domestic taxes are not included. The rates are amended several times a year.
