Partner Government Agencies

Also called: PGA · participating government agencies

US federal agencies other than CBP that regulate imported or exported goods, such as FDA, USDA, EPA, CPSC, FWS and NHTSA. They receive data through ACE as part of the entry and can hold or refuse goods under their own laws.

In practice

A PGA hold is separate from CBP release, so filings must include the agency-specific data for regulated products.
