Procedure code
Also called: CPC · customs procedure code · rejim kodu
A code in the customs declaration that identifies the procedure requested and, where relevant, the previous procedure, for example release for free circulation after customs warehousing. Additional procedure codes indicate reliefs, end-use or special situations.
In practice
A wrong procedure code can claim the wrong relief or fail to discharge an earlier procedure, both of which lead to duty claims.
