Common high priority items

Also called: CHPI

A list of goods identified by HS code, compiled by the EU with the US, UK and Japan, that have been found in Russian military systems and are priority targets for preventing sanctions circumvention. The list includes electronic components, machine tools and related items.

In practice

Exporters and transit countries face closer checks for CHPI goods, so end-user and re-export controls are expected for them.
