Dumping margin
Also called: margin of dumping · damping marjı
The amount by which the export price of a product is lower than its normal value, usually the price on the exporter's home market or a constructed value, expressed as a percentage of the export price. It is calculated per exporter or for a country as a whole in an anti-dumping investigation.
In practice
A dumping margin below the de minimis level ends the investigation for that exporter, so exporter cooperation can matter greatly.
