Injury margin
Also called: underselling margin · zarar marjı
The level of duty needed to remove the injury caused to the domestic industry by dumped or subsidised imports, typically based on the difference between import prices and a non-injurious price for domestic producers. It is compared with the dumping or subsidy margin when the lesser duty rule applies.
In practice
Where the injury margin is lower than the dumping margin, the final duty may be set at the lower level.
