Ex code
Also called: ex heading · ex-out
A code preceded by ex means that only part of the goods covered by that code are concerned, for example a measure that applies to only some products within a CN code. The description next to it defines which goods are covered.
In practice
Preferences, suspensions and trade defence duties are often set at ex level, so check the product description, not only the code.
