Customs-approved treatment or use
Also called: eşyanın gümrükçe onaylanmış bir işlem veya kullanıma tabi tutulması
A concept in Turkish customs law, inherited from the former Community Customs Code, covering everything that can lawfully happen to goods under customs supervision: placing them under a customs procedure, entering them into a free zone or warehouse, re-exporting them, destroying them or abandoning them to the Treasury. Goods presented to customs must be assigned one of these within set time limits.
In practice
Goods not assigned a customs-approved treatment or use in time can be treated as abandoned and disposed of by customs.
