Economic conditions
Also called: economic conditions test · ekonomik şartlar
The requirement that using inward processing or certain other special procedures should not harm the essential interests of producers in the customs territory. For most goods the conditions are presumed to be met, but for some sensitive agricultural products an examination by customs or the Commission is needed.
In practice
For sensitive products the economic test can delay or block an authorisation, so applications should explain the market situation.
