Rate of yield
Also called: output rate · randıman
The quantity or percentage of processed products obtained from a given quantity of goods placed under inward or outward processing. It is set in the authorisation, from production data or standard rates, and is used to discharge the procedure.
In practice
An inaccurate rate of yield distorts the duty calculation on waste, by-products and unaccounted inputs.
