Temporary admission
Also called: geçici ithalat · TA
A special procedure allowing non-Union goods intended for re-export to be used in the customs territory with total or partial relief from import duty, for example professional equipment, exhibition goods, samples or containers. Goods must remain unchanged apart from normal wear.
In practice
It avoids paying duty on equipment brought in for projects or trade fairs, either through a local authorisation or an ATA carnet.
