Country of origin marking

Also called: origin marking · Made in labelling · 19 USC 1304

A requirement that imported goods or their containers show the country of origin in a legible, permanent way. The US applies it broadly to imported articles under 19 USC 1304 with some exceptions, while the EU has origin labelling rules only for specific sectors such as food.
