On-site clearance (Türkiye)
Also called: yerinde gümrükleme · local clearance
A Turkish simplification under which authorised companies can have customs formalities for imports or exports carried out at their own premises rather than at a customs office. It requires an authorisation from the Ministry of Trade and suitable premises for customs supervision.
In practice
On-site clearance shortens lead times for regular importers and exporters, but conditions on premises and records must be maintained.
