Price undertaking

Also called: undertaking · fiyat taahhüdü

A voluntary commitment by an exporter, accepted by the investigating authority, to sell at or above a minimum price instead of paying anti-dumping or countervailing duties. Goods covered by an accepted undertaking must be accompanied by an undertaking invoice, and breach can lead to duties being imposed.

In practice

Importers must check that the invoice meets the undertaking requirements, because a missing or defective invoice makes the full duty payable.
