Private customs warehouse
Also called: private warehouse · özel antrepo
A customs warehouse reserved for storage of goods by the holder of the warehousing authorisation, who is also usually the warehouse keeper. It suits companies storing their own non-Union goods, such as distributors holding stock before sale.
In practice
A private warehouse lets a company defer duty until goods are sold into the market, but it must manage stock records to customs standards.
