Customs warehouse types (Türkiye)

Turkish legislation classifies customs warehouses into types identified by letters, distinguishing public warehouses that any person may use from private warehouses reserved for the warehouse keeper's own goods, and setting who bears responsibility for the goods. One type is operated by the customs administration itself.
In practice
The warehouse type decides who is liable if goods go missing, which affects contracts and guarantee arrangements.
