A facility letting traders submit all import, export and transit information once, to be shared among customs and other government agencies responsible for permits and controls. Türkiye's Tek Pencere system, the EU single window environment and the US ACE all serve this role.
In practice
Permits from agencies such as health or agriculture authorities can be verified automatically in the declaration, removing paper certificates.
