Temporary storage

Also called: geçici depolama · TS

The status of non-Union goods from the moment they are presented to customs until they are placed under a procedure or re-exported. Goods are kept in authorised facilities, and in the EU the maximum period is 90 days.

In practice

Goods left in temporary storage beyond the deadline can be seized or sold, so declarations must be lodged in time even if paperwork is incomplete.
