Kapitel 59 umfasst im Gemeinsamen Zolltarif des GCC 37 Tarifpositionen, verteilt auf 11 Positionen.
Die Zollsätze betragen einheitlich 5 %.
Die meisten Tarifpositionen, nämlich 8, entfallen auf Position 5907 („Andere Gewebe, getränkt, bestrichen oder überzogen“).
Der häufigste Satz ist 5 %; er gilt für 37 Tarifpositionen.
5901 Gewebe, mit Leim oder stärkehaltigen Stoffen bestrichen, von der zum Einbinden von Büchern, zum Herstellen von Futteralen, Kartonagen oder zu ähnlichen Zwecken verwendeten Art; Pausleinwand; präparierte Malleinwand; Bougram und ähnliche steife Gewebe, von der für die Hutmacherei verwendeten Art
