Cargo manifest
Also called: manifest · manifesto
A list of all goods carried on a vessel, aircraft or vehicle, prepared by the carrier and submitted to customs. It links each consignment to its transport document and is used to account for goods arriving and departing.
In practice
Discrepancies between the manifest and the declaration, such as package counts, are a common cause of holds and fines.
