Classification regulation

Also called: EU classification regulation

A Commission implementing regulation that fixes the CN classification of a specific product described in it, usually with the reasoning. It is binding in all member states and can also invalidate earlier BTI decisions that conflict with it.

In practice

Before relying on a BTI or your own view, check whether a classification regulation already covers a similar product, because it overrides both.
