Customs control channels

Risk-based routing of declarations to different levels of control. In Türkiye, declarations are directed to the green line (no check), yellow line (document check), red line (physical and document check) or blue line (release with later audit). Other administrations use similar risk channels with different names.
In practice
A good compliance record and AEO status reduce the share of declarations sent for physical inspection, which shortens lead times.
