Export health certificate
Also called: EHC
An official certificate signed by an authorised veterinarian or inspector in the exporting country, confirming that animals or animal products meet the health requirements of the importing country. Since Brexit, EU exports of many animal products to Great Britain need one, and UK exports to the EU likewise.
In practice
The certificate must match the importing country's model exactly, otherwise goods can be rejected at the border control post.
