Temporary storage declaration
Also called: TSD
A declaration lodged for non-Union goods presented to customs, stating that they are to be kept in temporary storage. In the EU it can be combined with the entry summary declaration or replaced by data already available to customs, such as the manifest.
In practice
Starting temporary storage correctly sets the clock for the period within which goods must be placed under a procedure.
