EUR-MED movement certificate
Also called: EUR-MED
A movement certificate used in the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean zone when diagonal cumulation with other partner countries is applied. It carries a statement indicating whether cumulation was applied and with which countries. Under the revised PEM rules, EUR.1 can also be used for many flows, and EUR-MED use has declined.
In practice
Exporters relying on inputs from several PEM countries need to choose the correct certificate type and wording to keep the preference down the chain.
