NCTS
Also called: New Computerised Transit System · NCTS Phase 5 · Yeni Bilgisayarlı Transit Sistemi
The electronic system used to lodge, control and discharge transit declarations in the EU and common transit countries, including Türkiye and the UK. Phase 5 introduced new data requirements aligned with the UCC, and later phases connect transit with import and export systems.
In practice
A transit movement ends correctly only when the destination office closes it in NCTS; open movements lead to duty claims against the holder.
