Transit accompanying document
Also called: TAD · TRD
A printed document that travels with goods under NCTS transit and carries the movement reference number, allowing offices en route and at destination to retrieve the electronic data. A transit/security version is used when safety data is included.
In practice
Drivers must carry the TAD or the MRN, because offices of transit and destination identify the movement through it.
